Art directed issue #3 of Private Air, a magazine for owners of privates jets. Designed entire issue, as well as making some editorial decisions regarding content. Also helped launch premier issue of Corporate Leader magazine.

O the Oprah Magazine/ november 2006-april 2007

Worked on pages for front of book, back of book, and feature sections of lifestyle magazine. This included the assigning of illustrations and attending photoshoots.

InStyle / april 2006-august 2006

Designed pages for monthly fashion/celebrity magazine that averages 190 edit pages per issue and has circulation of 1.7 million. Conceived new pages and updated existing ones. Acted as liaison between creative director and editors.

Frank Publishing / december 2005-february 2006

Partnered with editorial consultant to re-imagine a trade publication, Business Traveler, as a consumer magazine. Collaborated on both editorial and creative direction, and overhauled the editorial, design, and production workflows.

Golf Magazine / april-september 200

Collaborated with new editor and creative director on a redesign. Also, designed the magazine’s pages and kept it on schedule, while supervising staff, assigning illustrations, and designing special packages.

Art Director / june 2002–december 2004

Created visual look of national, home magazine with readership of 1.2 million. Directed photo shoots for the magazine, including all cover shoots. Supervised art and photo department staff, coordinated photo shoots, collaborated with editorial staff on ideas and visuals, corrected color, and kept layouts on schedule. Oversaw the art budget, and designed the three largest issues in the magazine’s history (Sept., Oct., Nov. 2004), which required special attention to time and talent allocation.

Helped conceive overall look of magazine. Designed features and packages, collaborated with editors to develop new sections for the magazine, and supervised the associate art director and design staff. Also directed product photo shoots.
